DISEMEX – Disability Employment Expert
DISEMEX project also was funded by the co-Erasmus+ and involved NGOs and CSOs from Bulgaria, Germany, Italy, Poland, Romania, Slovenia, Turkey, and the United Kingdom. The goal of it was similarly to share best practices for the integration of people with disabilities into the workforce and promote economic participation, human rights, and dignity. The DISEMEX project brought together actors working in the field of vocational integration of people with disabilities and aimed to identify best practices in the region. The project concluded in February 2020.

Objectives
- To benchmark the most effective inclusive strategies and best practice in the area of the first labour market
- To foster the employability of people with disabilities and by doing so the societal inclusion
- To discuss failures in order to be able to specify “bad” practice examples, as well as to confront good and bad strategies
Activities
- Develop a short learning video explaining the concepts proven to be good practices through the participants, stakeholders and those directly affected
Results
- Particularly successful strategies and concepts
- A classification of the Impacts according to IMPACT+ with corresponding justification
- Ideas and approaches for developing deliverables in the context of possible follow-up projects
