Prerequisites/Necessary background

Il Corso è semplice e ben spiegato, è consigliato conoscere alcune nozioni fondamentali di marketing, come una conoscenza base di cosa è il mercato.

Learning course „Key competencies Soft skills” for self-study

Learning Unit and Workload

The course is divided in four parts:

  • Introduction
  • Theories
  • Competencies
  • Instruments

The course consists of 43 video lectures, approximately 35 minutes each, in total 25 hours and 65 hours of self-study.

Target Group

The main target group is graduating students and career starters and the goal is to explain what the key competencies are and soft skills they need to be successful in their career. 

Prerequisites/Necessary background

The course is rather theoretical and requires a solid theoretical background in psychology and economics to understand the content. It is easy to use, a student can see a video lecture any time anywhere, but it requires a high discipline and a lot of time for self-study.

Target Competencies

  • Hard skills: Mobilising resources, esp. practice time management Planning and management, esp. plan & organize
  • Soft skills: Working with others.

Certification Examination

The course is free of charge, but the certificate can be obtained by the students of the University of Bremen only after accomplishing the final exam.

Guide for not able-bodied persons on developing their own business or consultancy

Learning Unit and Workload

The course is comprised of 6 units focused on:

  • Unit 1: Your road to entrepreneurship
  • Unit 2: Assessing your entrepreneurship
  • Unit 3 Improving your entrepreneurship
  • Unit 4 Finding a mentor or coach
  • Unit 5 A step by step path for setting up a business
  • Unit 6 European landscape

Target Group

People with different kind of disabilities who want to become social entrepreneurs and do not know where to start.

Prerequisites/Necessary background

The course is easy to use and is written in a clear and precise language. Every unit has several exercises to check the understanding of the content. Quizzes are only available for those with a full user account. It does not need an academic background to accomplish.

  • Hard skills: vision (developing an idea), mobilizing resources (support)
  • Soft skills: self-awareness & self-efficacy, motivation and perseverance, learning through experience

Corporate management

Learning Unit and Workload

The course is comprised of two playlists and consists of 18 short and entertaining animated videos as well as a detailed explanation of the content in the form of transcripts:

  • Playlist 1: Organisation forms (8 videos, app.35 minutes)
  • Playlist 2: Corporate strategies (10 videos, app. 47 minutes)

Workload is about 80 minutes.

Target Group

University students and young career starters.

Prerequisites/Necessary background

The course is convenient to use and covers a lot of practical aspects in regard to corporate management. It does not need an academic background to accomplish.

Target Competencies

  • Hard skills: Spotting Opportunities & Valuing Ideas (developing an idea)
  • Soft skills: dealing with others, taking the initiative.

E-TRIM – Intermediate Module within the INDEX project

Learning Unit and Workload

This is an e-learning course with approx. 20 hours of lessons and 20 hours of self-studying. Weekly lessons include lectures, thematic videos and performing test tasks. It contains 6 big units:

  1. Entrepreneurship and company organisation.
  2. Commercialization of innovative projects.
  3. Innovation marketing.
  4. Project and risk management.
  5. Policy, legal aspects and funding.
  6. Best practices of innovative companies’ operation.

Target Group

  • Senior executives or a development department managers of your enterprise interested in learning about innovation and technology transfer;
  • Professionals interested in commercialization of Industry 4.0-based solutions in his area of expertise; founders of high-technology start-ups;
  • Young engineers of the company who is already working on development of specific components of Industry 4.0 and their application or is interested in expanding the base of customers that develop smart technologies for new fields of application;
  • Educators teaching graduate and postgraduate courses focusing on commercialization and technology transfer; students or postgraduates interested in commercialization and technology transfer

TE.EN. Farm – Teaching Entrepreneurship Education in Farming

Learning Unit and Workload

The course is composed of 9 units, of which the last 4 are in-depths. The 5 workloads include a final evaluation. Modules are:

  1. Being an entrepreneur;
  2. Creativity;
  3. Strategy and business models;
  4. Market analysis;
  5. Web marketing;
  6. Digital agriculture;
  7. Startup financing;
  8. Risk management in agriculture;
  9. Innovation and cooperation.

Target Group

The target group is made up of students of secondary technical schools and vocational training institutes/pathways in the agricultural sector. Specifically, the course is divided in:

  • Course 1: for I-Vet students (secondary school students)
  • Course 2: for C-Vet students (vocational training for students after graduation or for workers)

Prerequisites/Necessary background

It may needs some knowledge of the topic, but modules are easy to study.

The course is composed of 7 modules (approximately for a total of 3 hours of study) and of End-of-topic assessments.

The modules are:

  • Module 1: The online opportunity, 15 minutes;
  • Module 2: Your first steps in online success, 30 minutes;
  • Module 3: Plan your online business strategy, 30 minutes;
  • Module 4: Build your online shop, 25 minutes;
  • Module 5: Sell more online, 35 minutes;
  • Module 6: Build your web presence, 40 minutes;
  • Module 7: Get noticed locally, 20 minutes.

Target Group

The target group is made up of people who want to create a business online and to build a digital presence.

Prerequisites/Necessary background

There aren’t necessary prerequisites, the course is for beginners. In addition, it includes easy-to-implement tips and video tutorials.
